Salesforce Consultant
About the Role
As a Salesforce Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining Salesforce systems for our nonprofit clients. This is a contract position with flexible hours and the potential for growth into a full-time role. You’ll work closely with clients to ensure their Salesforce orgs remain optimized, functional, and aligned with their evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular system health checks, including data quality audits, security and compliance reviews, and assessments of system best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, including permissions, reports, automations, and integration errors.
Implement small to medium-sized changes in Salesforce, such as process automation, custom reports/dashboards, or data management tasks.
Troubleshoot integrations and automations to ensure seamless functionality across connected tools and platforms.
Provide tailored user training and support to help client teams confidently use Salesforce tools and workflows.
Develop and maintain clear and detailed documentation of client systems, updates, and best practices to ensure continuity and future scalability.
Collaborate with the Resin team to improve internal processes and service delivery.

Experienced Salesforce Professional: 2+ years of Salesforce experience, preferably working with nonprofit organizations. Experience with Nonprofit Cloud and/or NPSP is a big plus.

Client-Centric: You are professional, communicative, and able to build strong relationships with clients while managing their expectations.
Independent and Organized: You can manage your time effectively, work independently, and juggle multiple clients with ease.
Technically Skilled: You’re comfortable with Salesforce admin tasks, including configuring objects, fields, automation, integrations, and reports/dashboards.
Growth-Oriented: You have a mindset for learning, evolving, and contributing to both your own growth and the growth of the company.
Requirements
Salesforce Administrator Certification.
Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Consultant Certification is preferred.
Experience with tools and integrations commonly used by nonprofits (e.g., Classy, Mailchimp, Formstack, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Reliable internet connection and remote work setup.
Proficiency in Salesforce automation, including Flows, formulas, validation rules, and other declarative tools.
Knowledge of nonprofit strategies, including donor management, fundraising best practices, and program delivery, and how technology can enhance these operations.
